How can an IT business run in VUCA world, enter global markets and struggle against entropy as an inevitable part of the development process?

Five Russian companies, four of which are Skolkovo residents, pitched their sustainable AI-based solutions at the UN global summit “AI for Good.” The five companies were selected from a group of 40 startups that offered solutions tackling the UN’s 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Five Russian startup companies, two of which are Skolkovo Foundation residents from the innovation center’s IT cluster, will pitch their AI-based sustainable solutions at the Russian track of the AI for Good Global Summit taking place on January 27, a program aimed at accelerating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The summit connects AI innovators with problem owners in order to solve global challenges related to sustainability. The spectators will comprise corporations and government bodies, while also encompassing a much broader and diverse global audience.
An Interactive AI Case Map was launched as part of the “Global Challenge: Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” program by the Skolkovo Foundation.
The online business mission to Singapore took place on December 17 with twelve Skolkovo residents pitching their AI solutions. The program titled “Global Challenge – artificial intelligence for sustainable development goals (SDGs)” was created by the Skolkovo Foundation and its partners in the AI sector such as Tinkoff Bank and Marine Innovation, the aim being to promote Russian innovative developments and to create a case map of AI SDGs. The program is part of the Skolkovo Foundation’s Sk[ai]HUB (Skolkovo AI Hub).
On December 10, as part of the Skolkovo AI 2020 conference, the Skolkovo Foundation summarized the results of the two programs aimed at the development of AI technologies.
As part of the Singapore innovation and technology week, Russia House Startup Pitching Days were held on December 7-10, 2020. The event was supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Sistema Asia, the SKOLKOVO Foundation, the Internet Initiatives Development Fund, the Russian Venture Company and MTS PJSC.
Seven Skolkovo startups pitched healthcare and infrastructure AI solutions to Chinese technology companies, investors, and international organizations during the online Russia-China business mission, which kicked off today.
On October 26-27, the Skolkovo Foundation convenes a business mission to Switzerland. The event will be held via videoconference and is organized with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland to Moscow and the Swiss Business Hub in Russia, as well as with the participation of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation of Switzerland (SERI), the Swiss Innovation Agency Innosuisse, industry associations SwissGognitive and digitalswitzerland and a number of Swiss chambers of commerce.
